Minn Kota Brush and Seal Kit for 3-5/8" Diameter Lower Units 1991 - Present

Fits all Minn Kota Trolling Motors that have a lower unit with an outside diameter of 3-5/8" with the exception of 70 pound thrust models built after 2018 or that have been upgraded to the Core 128 Armature Assembly. If your 70# thrust lower unit has a Core 128 Armature Assembly, you will need the BRUSHKIT3.62(70).

Typical thrust levels include 46-70 pounds.

Not sure if this kit will fit your trolling motor? Measure the outside diameter of the Plain End Housing and if it measures 3-5/8", this kit will fit your trolling motor.

Anytime a lower unit is reassembled, the thru bolts need to be tightened within 35 - 45 inch pounds for 3-5/8" diameter lower units.

Replacement speed switch

The Turbo Switch upgrade kit enabled me to replace the obsolete speed control switch (obsolete) with the new model, and a new cover for the MiinnKota motor. New brushes and seals work perfectly

70# Thrust Minn Kota Brush Kit

Everything needed to do a minor refurbish on my trolling motor.. Would have been nice to have added new wire terminals also.

Everything I needed

Received my shipment very soon after I placed my order. Got everything I needed in 1 convenient package. I had previously ordered & received a seal replacement pkg, however upon replacing my seals I noticed my brushing were wearing down so as I was placing the new order I decided it would be a good idea to get the entire pkg. Now I've got a little peace of mind with having extra seals just in case in I ever need them or am able to offer assistance to a fellow fisherman in need! You never know!

Kit is a perfect fit...made DIY simple and easy to replace...

Worked as it should. Motor is back in action.

Parts dropped in as oem parts would. Motor is back operating. A short on my negative terminal caused the system to overheat so when replacing this equipment, I would also recommend reterminated the + / - connectors which attach to the brushes.
