Minn Kota 70# Armature Assembly and Brush Plate Upgrade Kit for 3-5/8" Diameter Lower Units

Fits all 65# and 70# Minn Kota Trolling Motors from 2004 - Present. If your original armature is stamped with a CORE 119 this is a direct replacement.

The 92-100-119 Armature Assembly has been discontinued and is no longer available from Minn Kota. This kit provides all of the parts necessary to upgrade your 70# thrust motor to the armature that is now being used.

The new 70# Armature Assembly, p/n 92-100-128, was released by Minn Kota in November of 2017. This new armature has a larger commutator and is accompanied by larger brushes and a newly designed brush plate to better dissipate heat.

Anytime a lower unit is reassembled, the thru bolts need to be tightened to 35 - 45 inch pounds for 3-5/8" diameter lower units.

Exactly what I needed for 24v 70# Maxxum

Great rebuild kit. Took me about 30 minutes to swap out everything in the lower unit. I now have a working trolling motor. I could have probably just replaced the brushes and it would have worked but figured I’d replace everything (while it’s opened up) and be good to go for several years. Thank you!

Quick and easy to do. Motor works great now. Customer service was great. Had a couple questions and the guy I talked to was very helpful. I would buy again from Northland even though I’m all the way in Idaho.
