I bought the upgrade kit for 2 reasons. First, after years of use the handle of my 2007 rip tide was very loose and would not hold a constant speed. Secondly, my boat was in storage in a barn for 6 years. Mice seemed to enjoy teething on the power cable coming from the trolling motor. I was able to put everything back in working order using your upgrade kit. The instructions were fairly easy to follow.
Big savings compared to buying new motor. Plus they don’t offer the 101 thrust anymore.

I've dealt with Northland Marine several times over the years and have ALWAYS been very satisfied, especially with your customer service in the parts department. Andrew ,(and I'm sorry I can't remember the other gentleman's name who helps me sometimes), but their willingness to help is amazing. I tell anyone that needs help with Minn Kota parts to please call you guys. I also tell people that, while you may same a few dollars shopping on line, it's well worth the little bit of difference in the price, (if there is any??) to deal with Northland. I don't know how many times I've called Andrew to ask a question about a part or to get help with something on my trolling motor. He is always spot on with his expert knowledge. I won't shop anywhere else., period!!!!! Thank you Northland Marine for being so willing to help.....

Arrived fast, good quality and easy to install. Made trolling motor new again and gained the functionality of an extending handle. I wish the battery indicator came with the basic kit because I forgot to add it but other than that, no complaints

Excellent service on the phone and shipping. Everything I needed was in the package. The replacement head and handle were upgrades to my original Minn Kota unit. YouTube was invaluable with videos of similar replacements.

Northland marine did a great job. Rare part for a good price. Unfortunately fed ex dropped the ball with shipping taking ten days from Wisconsin to Florida. Northland marine is in my file of preferred vendors.
