I had recently picked up an older non functioning Minn Kota Riptide trolling motor that had sat outside in the elements for years. A brief inspection verified the cables inside the power cord were badly corroded and in need of replacement. I couldn’t find an OEM replacement as many of the parts for this unit are now obsolete. So I selected the closest cord possible in terms of gauge thickness and I now have a functioning trolling motor with a modern and more practical coil cord.
Nice rebuild kit. Likely you’ll only need the plastic gear and it comes with 3 of them so it’s practically 3 rebuild kits. Shipping was fast and the kit was well packaged. Next time I need Minn Kota parts I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again
Parts are OEM and very affordable. Shipping was quick, I have used them several times and will continue to do so. And I like to support our independent suppliers that must compete with giant warehouses that suck the life out if our own people that have been here for us all along. I suggest you do too
I ordered the wrong part by accident and instead of sending the part I ordered they took the time to call me and get me the right part they didn’t have to do that and I don’t think most companies would,I would surely recommend these folks and I thank them for the way they handled my order
