Minn Kota Seal Kit for Motors with a 4-1/2" Outside Diameter Lower Unit

Fits all Minn Kota trolling motor models with 112 lbs of thrust

These models will have an outside diameter lower unit of 4 - 1/2"

Parts included in this kit:

***Brush End O Ring Special Note:

• This kit includes two different o-rings for the brush end housing.  These are the two largest diameter o-rings in the kit.  Use the o-ring that is the same as the one being replaced, the motor will not seal if the incorrect o-ring is used.

1. Part number 701-107 is the smaller of the two o-rings and was the original design.  To upgrade to the new design you will need to replace your Brush End Housing (for freshwater motors, 92-300-155 / for saltwater motors, 92-300-156).
2. Part number 701-103 is the larger of the two o-rings and was used after the design change in June of 2015.

• The design change was to make reassembly easier, the deeper groove in the brush end housing keeps the larger o-ring in place with less effort while the motor is disassembled.  Once assembled both designs function properly.  When assembling a lower unit that uses the 701-107 o-ring applying a small amount of white lithium grease in the o-ring groove helps keep the o-ring in place until assembly is complete.

Anytime a lower unit is reassembled, the thru bolts need to be tightened within 40 - 50 inch pounds for 4-1/2" diameter lower units.
