Minn Kota Saltwater 80# Armature Assembly Upgrade Kit for 4" Diameter Lower Units
This kit is designed to upgrade a Salt Water 74# thrust lower unit with the old bearing system to a 80# thrust lower unit with the most up to date bearing system. To accomplish this; the armature, plain end housing and prop need to be replaced. This kit was designed when the 74# thrust armature (p/n 2-100-103) was discontinued. If your armature has core 103 stamped on it, this kit will work for your trolling motor.

Anytime a lower unit is reassembled, the thru bolts need to be tightened to 40 - 50 inch pounds for 4" diameter lower units.
