| Beginning late 2008: The serial numbers will contain 11 characters beginning with a letter representing the calandar year code (A-0, B=1, etc ..., J=9) followed by a 3-digit day (001-365), followed by the 2 character product line code (MK= Minn Kota, DH =Deckhand, CP=CoPilot, TT=Trim Tabs), and lastly the 5 digit individual serial number for the unit.
